Super Car Week in West Palm Beach was a huge success this year. The car gods smiled on the show this year with some am azing weather, not to hot, and no rain. Sunny Florida came through and there is nothing better than some of the hottest sports cars on the market lined up with palm trees and the inter-coastal as a backdrop.
The event kicked off on Saturday at Lamborghini Palm Beach where event goers got a chance to see the latest that Lamborghini had to offer. It was followed up on Tuesday by the Super Car Race Experience out at Palm Beach International Raceway where attendees got a chance to see a lot of these incredible cars tearing up the track. Its definitely something to see some of these cars in motion. Wednesday Excel Auto in Boca Raton held a very special VIP party at their location. Thursday the show was at Palm Beach Gardens where everyone got to hear music and see the cars under the stars. Thursday the press and media was treated to a great cocktail party held at SALT in Delray Beach. Friday was Worth Avenues turn as these cars lined the street for cocktails for the VIPs. Saturday found the VIPs at BICE in Palm Beach. But the big event is on Sunday when the cars line Flagler and the Waterfront.
Car Show TV was there shooting video for the event as well as hosted BeTheMatch.com in their tent. BeTheMatch.com, an organization which helps inform and get people signed up in the National Bone Marrow Registry was there registering people to help save lives. The host of CarShowTV, Andrew McClary has a son who is currently fighting cancer and is in need of a bone marrow transplant. To help with this, members of the Everglade 501st Stormtrooper Garison came out to lend a hand in “rounding up” the “droids we are looking for”. These are a great group of guys and those who had not already registered themselves got “swabbed” to save a life. Truly “Bad Guys Doing Good”. It was a successful drive that collected over 50 new potential bone marrow donors. A very special thanks to Neil London for allowing this to happen.
